New to Lolita

Lolita fashion product names often use abbreviations. This glossary explains common terms so you can understand what each product option means before adding it to your cart.

Main Garments

JSK: Jumper skirt. A sleeveless Lolita dress usually worn over a blouse, cutsew, or inner top.
OP: One piece. A dress with sleeves or a complete upper bodice, often wearable without a separate blouse.
SK: Skirt. A separate Lolita skirt, usually worn with a blouse, top, or jacket.
Blouse: A top worn under or with Lolita dresses and skirts. Check shoulder, bust, and sleeve measurements carefully.
Salopette: A suspender-style dress or skirt with straps, often more casual or playful than a formal JSK.
Ouji: A prince-inspired style that may include shirts, vests, jackets, shorts, trousers, capes, or coordinated sets.

Accessories and Supporting Pieces

KC: A headbow or headband-style accessory. Some brands use KC for a bow on a band.
BNT: Bonnet. A headwear piece often used in Classic, Sweet, Hime, or old-school coordinates.
Petticoat: An underskirt that gives volume and shape to a Lolita dress or skirt.
Bloomers: Short undergarment-style shorts worn for comfort, coverage, or old-school styling.
Cuffs: Wrist accessories that match a blouse, dress, or coordinate.

Listing and Option Terms

Full Set: A set option that may include multiple pieces. Always check the selected variant and Included note because set contents vary by product.
Colorway: A color version of the same design, such as pink, black, ivory, navy, or sax blue.
One Size: A single size option. It still has measurements or fit limits, so check the product details.
Pre-order: An item with a longer preparation period before dispatch. The product page shows the expected preparation timeline.
Order Preparation: An item that is prepared before international shipping, usually within the timeline shown on the product page.
Ready Stock: An item already held by Loliroom and prepared for faster dispatch. Only products explicitly marked as ready stock should be treated this way.
